PinkCilantro is looking to hire a detail-oriented, multi-disciplinary Creative Director with a strong background in video production, photography, animation, and illustration.

S/he will be dedicated to developing and refining innovative visual storytelling that exists at the nexus of words, images, and technology. Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to recommend content/design strategies in order to drive traffic, and increase customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue.

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic problem solver, capable of approaching challenges from multiple angles and working quickly and collaboratively to bring new ideas to life. The Creative Director should have innovative ideas for how to conceive, create, and deliver compelling digital experiences that deliver on PinkCilantro’s client’s objectives. This role is critical to furthering the quality of the experience we provide our customers and to furthering innovation in this rapidly changing industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing teams and business leaders, to understand overall business objectives and translate these into creative campaigns for digital marketing growth strategies
  • Lead the annual planning process, including recommendation of content campaign strategies with accompanying ROI forecasts
  • Bring photographic/video, illustration, and animation subject matter expertise to the team
  • Manage the holistic visual experience of projects with multiple collaborators and stakeholders
  • Excel at working in collaborative environments
  • Bring a unique vision to the project, with a clear voice that drives results
  • Be comfortable working on content in various genres, with a range of aesthetic sensibility
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of digital content development; including ideation, design, development, implementation, testing, and release
  • Produce high-quality, innovative, and cohesive deliverables that deliver on PinkCilantro and clients objectives
  • Manage digital marketing plan and budget to make recommendations on how to drive the brand through social within an ever-changing environment

 

Best Practices / Content:

  • Provide research, recommendations, and insight to the company on getting the most value out of digital to meet business objectives
  • Develops and manages content calendar as well as content guidelines and standards

 

Partnership/Leadership:

  • Leads and manages external agencies on development and execution of creative campaigns
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with social influencers across categories and interests
  • Serves as the main point of contact for editorial/media and stylist contacts and needs
  • Own the brand’s visual presence across social channels, including sites like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram LinkedIn, etc.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • An online portfolio or samples of work demonstrating 3+ years of content direction, including pieces that demonstrate your ability to turn raw ideas into beautiful and compelling visual content
  • Proficiency in a variety of design, video, and web tools such as Photoshop, Premiere, Final Cut, HTML5, CSS3, and InDesign
  • Bachelor’s degree in film, design or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with social/app/VR or other emerging storytelling technologies
  • Experience as a video producer in a production environment
  • Passionate about digital branding, social media campaigns and other forms of digital content
  • Superb visual design, conception, storyboarding, and artistic skills
  • Passion for design principles including typography, composition, and color theory
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter and has at least two years of experience creating and implementing marketing plans. The Digital Marketing Brand Manager will report to our Senior Marketing Brand Manager and provide strategic marketing services for PinkCilantro, as well as our wide variety of clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing teams and business leaders, to understand overall business objectives and translate these into actionable digital marketing growth strategies
  • Lead the annual planning process, including recommendation of digital marketing strategies with accompanying ROI forecasts for brand budgeting purposes
  • Use and pro-actively gather/listen and act on the voice of the customer that arises from digital/social to help inform product development opportunities and marketing activities
  • Review marketing analytics to make informed decisions going forward surrounding digital marketing, social media campaigns, messaging, targeted influencers, and more
  • Manage digital marketing plan and budget to make recommendations on how to drive the brand through social within an ever-changing environment

 

Measurement / Reporting / Tools:

  • Define and refine digital marketing KPIs and value for the brand. Ensure tools and resources; processes are in place.
  • Create monthly/quarterly digital marketing learnings/insights.
  • Compile and distribute quarterly reports to management on overall digital marketing program performance – ensuring clear insights/actions is the focus, rather than just data
  • Analyze and make recommendations on emerging social media and digital trends

Requirements/Qualifications:

 

  • 2+ years of experience working as a marketing coordinator or associate, preferably at a digitally-focused agency
  • Ability to think outside the box to supplement standard marketing strategies with more unique tactics
  • Experience creating and implementing comprehensive marketing plans for a wide range of clients with varying budgets and timelines
  • Ability to explain complex subjects in simple, easy to understand terms in live presentations
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Strong written communication skills
